At the heart of our mission is the well-being of every child, especially those vulnerable and in street situations. Our child protection program is designed to prevent and respond to abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence affecting children.
We implement this program through child education, child health and child rights. Furthermore we provide support for vulnerable parents and teenage mothers.
This includes school sponsorship, school dropout prevention, and school retention initiatives. Also conduct teacher training in areas such as sensitization of children in street situations and inclusive education to ensure every child can thrive in a supportive learning environment. We have provided scholastic and school feeding support to over 500 children, enhancing their ability to stay in school and succeed academically.
Child health involves covering basic needs such as health insurance and improving access to medical services. This also includes hygiene training and running disease prevention campaigns to ensure children remain healthy and well-equipped to pursue their educational and personal growth. Through this initiative, we have supported 300 vulnerable people with healthcare insurance.
This focuses on reducing stigma through campaigns in schools and communities. Our initiatives are designed to ensure that children’s rights are recognized and actively protected in their everyday environments. Through these efforts, we have sensitized over 10,000 children, youth, and community members about child rights using sports and creative arts programs.
Teenage mothers, as one of the most vulnerable groups, require support to address their physical, mental, and emotional needs. This initiative is tailored to empower them in all psycho-social aspects, including financial empowerment, helping them build resilience and a positive future for themselves and their children. This helps to mitigate chances of both the teenage mums and their children going to the street for survival. We have been able to train and certify over 200 vulnerable youth and parents in vocational skills.
