ABOUT US
Love for Hope Ministry (LFHM) is a registered child-focused, Christian, interdenominational organization, (No. 112/RGB/FBO/LP/0672020) based in Bugesera District, Rwanda. Founded in 2008 by Ruzindana Egide, LFHM is dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and youth who, due to various socio-economic, environmental, and familial factors, live or work on the streets. By addressing the root causes that lead them to these street situations, we strive to empower them to become responsible, productive, and dignified members of society.

Our Programs
At the core of our work is the well-being of a child, with a specific focus on vulnerable children in street situations. Our approach involves creating a supportive ecosystem that encompasses not only the children themselves but also the youth, families, and broader community that influence and shape the environment in which they develop. Our activities are structured around preventative measures and response actions delivered through five core programs :
Creative Arts
Like sports, the arts serve as a tool to engage children and youth, fostering character development, talent development, and self-expression.
Bible School
This program focuses on two main areas: Evangelism and Discipleship, guiding individuals towards spiritual growth that fosters personal transformation and positive community impact.
Economic Empowerment
This initiative focuses on developing skills to ensure food security and economic stability, among teenage mothers, parents and youth to help them meet basic needs and provide for their households thereby tackling issues like limited education, stunting, and malnutrition hence reducing poverty and enhancing economic growth.

My journey with LFHM, began in 2012 during tough times. I was an orphan, living on the streets of Kigali, struggling with homelessness and substance abuse. In 2010, I met Egide, who helped me find faith and purpose, leading me to quit drugs and return to school. I finished secondary education and pursued mechanical engineering. I started my own business and completed a bachelor's degree in tourism and hospitality management. I am grateful for Egide and others who believed in me. I’m now focused on giving back and improving life for others.
